 JapanHiroaki Kimura is responsible for the advancement of research and development projects on Automated Driving for Universal Service, a theme of Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Project, in Cabinet Office of Japan. Before joining Cabinet Office, he formulated radio spectrum policies, such as radio station licensing for government institutions, enhancement of radio spectrum monitoring, international spectrum coordination and harmonization of terrestrial broadcasting technologies, in Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

 JapanYuki Takishima is the Director of Group of Service for Citizens, Digital Agency. 
 He graduated University of Tokyo 2001 and Harvard Kennedy School Master of Public Policy in 2008. He joined Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, 2001. He was involved in planning and implementation of system and infrastructure export policies to emerging countries, SME financing policies. He engaged in digital transformation of national government of Japan including regulatory reform since 2017, and joined Digital Agency, 2021.

 JapanKenichi Ito joined the National Police Agency in 1990, and has worked mainly in the field of traffic police, both nationally and locally. 
 In the National Police Agency, he served as an Assistant Director in charge of ITS. In regional areas, he served as the Director of the Traffic Control Department of Aichi Prefectural Police and the Director of the Traffic Control Department of Gunma Prefectural Police.
 Currently, he is the Director of the Automated Driving Planning Office, Traffic Planning Division, Traffic Bureau, National Police Agency.

 JapanShigekazu Fukunaga joined Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 2002 and has worked for various policy domains such as energy, standard and conformance, and creative industry in METI. He also worked as commercial counselor of Embassy of Japan in China. In July 2021, he was appointed as Director of ITS and Automated Driving Promotion Office in METI and also Sub-Leader for SIP-adus in Cabinet Office. He holds the Master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Tokyo and the Master's degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.

 JapanMr. Masamitsu Waga has been Director of ITS Policy and Program Office, Road Bureau, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) since April 2022. 
 He started working at Ministry of Construction (currently MLIT) in 1997.
 Recent work experience before his current position ranges from urban environment policy and bicycle use promotion.

 JapanJoined the Ministry of Transport (currently the Ministry of Land, infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) in 1998. 
 After working as the Director, Recall control office, Road Transport Bureau, he has been working as Director, Policy planning office for Automated Driving Technology, Road Transport Bureau since July 2020.
